Is Leno so hard up for publicity these days that he has to make his resignation announcement five years in advance?

I'm actually glad though, because I originally had plans that night, and now with such early notice, I can reschedule! Or at least set my VCR, if it's not obselete by then. Maybe I should use my teleporter to get home in plenty of time, just in case. Unless it's acting up again, which I'm pretty sure it is, because knowing me, I bought a "reconditioned" materialization device. (I predict sad stories about the Trisler teleporter.)

But I have to cut corners somewhere, especially if I ever want to afford one of those holographic interactive entertainment centers I keep seeing everywhere.

Oh. Sorry... I uh... yeah, I know.

I'm not Jane. Gotcha.

PS: I would like to express my absolute horror at the results when I searched for "The Jetson's pictures". EW! Sick sick sick world. Shame on you!!

I'm of the opinion that Leno should have gone YESTERDAY.

Give me more Conan!

Oh, The Jetsons... What a nostalgia. They still show it on Cartoon Network, but it seems kids just don't watch it anymore. And, lol, I've tried to google Jetson and I agree with you about the world. Freaks!

Shannon, whenever I need a good laugh, I will always come to your blog because you are SO funny!

I agree, Shannon is very funny and I love to laugh!

And it's sick what you get when you google so many seemingly innocent subjects. Is the whole world really so obsessed with "that"? Or can't they get a date? That's just sad.

Anyhoo, as for the original subject, 5 years in advance, isn't that silly? Is it so everyone goes "Oh, no! only 5 more years? I'll start missing him right now!" I kind of liken it to announcing "in 30 years, I'll be dead".

I'm a "Letterman" fan, myself....
