Okay, so I'm a nerd, with a disturbing affinity for corny puns.
As I suspected, I do not have gestational diabetes. I will take this as an omen to eat as much candy and carbs as I want. Huzzah!! I will commence celebration with Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs, truly one of the finest elements of Easter cuisine.
I'm only doing it because the baby told me to, though.
I plan on sitting down and doing some good, quality blogging tonight, but I wanted to post this quick note in the meantime, for those of you wondering how that turned out.
Happy Friday everybody! Enjoy your weekend. May it be full of chocolatey peanutbuttery goodness.
Wahoo! Very glad to hear it. Now, eat some Reeses.
Hi. I work with "Aunt Vickie". I recently found out that my husband and I are expecting our first child. Vickie has been keeping me posted on your blog. I am only 5 weeks along, 6 weeks on Sunday, and I am scared. I want everything to be ok, but I always carry that slight fear with me. Take care.
Tiffany
Glad to hear it isn't diabetes! That would just suck if you had to give up carbs...and...chocolate!
Posted by: Suzanne at March 18, 2005 03:42 PMTiffany, thanks for stopping by! It's definitely normal to have anxieties during your pregnancy, we all do. Just remember that women have been having babies since the dawn of time, under all sorts of conditions and trials. It's the most natural event in the human life, and your body will know just how to sustain and nurture your little one! Above all, remember that it's all in God's hands. No matter how cliche that sounds, it's the best place to be.
Hope you'll visit again and comment as often as you like! :)

Posted by: Aunt Vickie at March 21, 2005 09:41 AMIn celebration of not having to give up sugary goodness: Go get Cadbury Mini Eggs...You MUST know what these are because I remember Mom buying them when we were kids...but there is no comparison to that little pastel crunchy white shell filled with the most amazingly unique chocolate taste ever...( not to be confused with Cadbury Creme filled Eggs)...
