Hi, everybody! We are back home again, and before I crawl into the loveliness that is my own bed, I wanted to post a few pictures and stats like I promised.
Luke Everett was born on 5/13/05 at 12:32pm after a really great labor. (I will write more on this later-- I absolutely CANNOT believe how easy this was compared to my others!!) He weighed 6 lbs and 11 oz, and was 19 inches long. He has his own look-- it's hard to say that he resembles Wrenn or Eli because he is just his own unique self. He has been a terrific baby, very sweet and cuddly. He absolutely loves snuggling, and we are happily accomodating!
All his newborn assessments were good, and the ultrasound of his bladder showed that the cyst was still there but non-interfering. They didn't even do one of his brain right now, because there was no neurological reason to do it. He passed his tests with flying colors, so they will just look at that fluid pocket in the brain next week, when he has a followup sonogram of his bladder. Our hopes, it will continue to shrink and disappear - the fluid AND the cyst-- and the dotors think this is what will happen. They say all signs indicate he is just fine and perfectly normal! Praise God.
He's beautiful.

HE'S BEAUTIFUL! Good Job and good luck,we have been thinking of you and praying hard!
Praise God from whom all blessings flow!! Luke is a beautiful baby, looks a bit like Wrenn and I see some of Eli in him, too. I know you are all so relieved to have him here, safe and sound. God has truly heard our prayers for this little one and answered them, and believe me there were lots and LOTS of prayers going up for him. I'm so happy for you all and can't wait to hear from Grandma all about him and how Wrenn and Eli are adjusting. I hope to see him soon, in the mean time, give that new little one lots of hugs and kisses from Uncle Joe and me. Love you!

Posted by: Brandy Alexander at May 16, 2005 01:37 PMLuke, that is such a cool, manly name! I think he looks a bit like his siblings, and adorable.
Exact same size as my Grandson was. I think they pop out quite esily at that size, huh?
Hope you are feeling well and getting some sleep, Mommy!
I'm such a proud aunt!! I love him so much and miss him already after holding him for just 15 minutes! I miss all of you Trislers? Did Wrennie tell you we straightened her hair for you so she'd look like a princess when you and the baby came home? Not 3 minutes later, her hair was in a gajillion little curls again...I love you!! Can't wait to see ya'll again! Let me know if I can do anything to help. Aunt Binnttee
