On The Road Again

I might be crazy, but the kids and I are taking a trip next week. We're going to make the rounds, visiting family until we drop of sheer exhaustion. First we're going to Amory, MS to my Aunt Janet's house. We'll hang out on her wraparound porch, and enjoy the country life. We'll cook-out, swim, visit some family gravesites, and hit the antique stores around town. I can't wait! Then we'll go to my parent's house for the weekend of the 4th, and meet some other folks coming into town. I get to meet Aunt Vickie's fiance, who better bring his game to impress me! (Just kidding Mike, I know you'll be great!) After a few days there, we'll head to Monroe to my inlaws, where more fun will be had.

I will be blogging as I have internet access, and taking lots of pictures to post later.

To those of you we'll see shortly, I have one thing to say-- Get ready, 'cause the circus is coming to town.

Ok, please tell me about Aunt Vickie and fiance ? After I read that I sent her an email to find out if she was the Aunt Vickie that I know - the one that used to be my sister-in-law? lol If she is one in the same - YIPEE Gosh, I just love her and only wish the most fabulous everything for her.

Yeah, Lori, that's her. She told me she would call you after you read that! Lovely news, isn't it? :)

Yes, I think it is wonderful news! I am so excited for her. I talked to her this afternoon and it was a great conversation. I can't wait to meet him - sounds like he will not only be good to her but good for her. I truly love your Aunt Vickie and regardless of whom she is married to she will always be my "sister". She is a true Godsend in my and mine children's life. My whole family simply adores her and all will wish her the best life has to offer. You are very blessed to have such a remarkable lady in your family.

I took a trip with turtle when he was two months old. I think that's a good age...

This may sound absolutely crazy - but I tried to keep busy... and made myself get up every morning, take a shower, put on makeup and get out of the house to fight the post partum depression...

I didn't suffer from it - so maybe it worked.

Oh, I am so embarrassed....

But I love y'all both so very, very, very much...
