Okay... so I've been slacking. I admit it. You know it, and I know it. Should I just call it a day, and bid the blog adieu? I'm just sorta... bored, I guess. I don't feel very entertaining anymore. I'm short on funny these days, and I miss it! I miss writing things that cracked me up. I miss having too many things to blog about! I'm not sure what to do about it, honestly. How to put some life back in the old girl? (And by that I mean, APOG, not me, thank you very much.)
Feedback, please. Help a sister out.
Why don't you leave it alone for a month and go on a blog-sabbatical? Write down every blogging idea you have but don't blog about it...or blog but don't post.
In Emily Climbs by L. M. Montomery, Aunt Elizabeth imposes a two-year fiction sabbatical on Emily. She grows as a writer in the midst of her 'writing suffering.' It might work as a blogger, to adapt that idea to your situation.

Posted by: aunt j at September 16, 2005 02:03 PMDon't go! Take a few days off, sure -- but don't give up now!
Posted by: david at September 16, 2005 06:35 PMI agree with AuntJ.... There's not a day that goes by that I don't read your blog when I'm online checking email. Take a break, but don't leave completely!
Posted by: Rhonda at September 17, 2005 09:34 AMPlease don't stop. I took a 2 year blogging hiatus and now, because I started reading your blog again, I'm back into it. I love your blog. But, I do understand the need for a break every now and then - I needed one. But, your blog is great and you truly do have a gift with words.
Posted by: Lisa at September 17, 2005 09:03 PMIf you are going to quit your blog, go out while you are on top, like Jerry Seinfeld did with his show. Don't wait until your blog is a sad shadow of its former self to pull the plug. "Leave 'em wanting more." That's what I say.
Posted by: Joey at September 17, 2005 11:38 PMIt's Krista again.
I like your blog! You're a total stranger to me (though I have a Chattablog and we probably know someone in common, like the 5 degrees of Kevin Bacon game), but I like to read what you have to say about things and people in your life.
If you quit, I'll be sad. But if you need to take time off, I'll be ok as long as you come back to your blog. Because you're a good blogger.
Just my 2 cents. I'm a stranger; pay more attention to the people who know you and are related to you who commented here. They said not to quit. Don't quit, please.
